Fun Little Sex Games – version for singles (hetero pairings)
December 12 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Tantra for the rest of us: Fun Little Sex Games – version for singles (heterosexual pairings)
(For the couples version: https://www.facebook.com/events/1384791568278775/)
Why fumble around with intimate contact and hope for the best, when you could be having exactly what you want, at precisely the level you want it? This workshop presents a series of little games and activities that can easily be used as ongoing practices. Over four hours you will learn how to recognise what you want, understand your boundaries, communicate all of this to a partner, get better at dropping fully into ‘giving’ or ‘receiving’ mode, and – finally! – embed consent and negotiation into your sex-life in a way that reflects your brand of sexy. It’s tantra for the rest of us – you don’t have to understand any special language, you don’t need to be a yogic puritan, and you don’t need to relate to the tantric themes of ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’.
INTENSITY: Two out of four chillies. Most people experience this workshop as a gentle introduction, some experience it as challenging at times.
WHO FOR: The curious. People who generally identify as heterosexual (noting that there are also ‘gender blender’ and ‘couples’ versions of this workshop).
WHO NOT FOR: People seeking a heavily traditional tantra experience / teaching.
WILL THERE BE PAIR WORK? Yes. Lots. Please note, you only ever work to a level that’s right for you, from cautious to delicious!
HOW WILL PAIRING BE DONE? At the start of each exercise, people that identify as women will be paired via a random number system with people that identify as men.
CAN YOU WORK EXCLUSIVELY with partner/s you arrive with? No. (Perhaps you would be interested in the ‘couples’ version of this workshop?)
NUDITY: No genitals, buttocks or breasts, however some pairs may work directly with other areas of skin. There is no expectation of nudity.
SEXUAL CONTENT: The workshop is primarily about sexuality and sexual expression.
COMMITMENT: You may sit out of any activity, or participate only to a level that’s right for you.
RATIO of discussion to experiential: 20% discussion, 80% experiential.
BRING: Water bottle, your own snacks.
WEAR: Whatever you’re comfortable in.
PRICE: $60 – $90.
Pricing is in three rounds: twelve tickets at $60, six tickets at $80, and twelve tickets at $90. Effectively, this means getting in early to get a concession / early-bird / discounted ticket!

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Roger Butler is an exceptional facilitator. He has a diploma in facilitation, and extensive postgraduate training in psychology and working with groups. This is backed up by experience designing and running around a thousand workshops over the course of 20 years, and it results in a learning experience that is fun, accessible, consistently high quality, and about as safe as sex gets.
Roger lives and breathes a very sex-positive and body-positive existence. He offers a model of consent that goes beyond simply getting appropriate permissions; consent becomes the very thing that turns everyday sex into superb sex.
Roger is all for sexual experience as simple hedonistic pleasure, but can also make a great case for how good sex communications skills lead to world peace and political change! He is well schooled in kinky sex, ‘normal’ sex, and modern tantra practices (including the Urban Tantra professional training program).
He is a passionate advocate of gender equality in a way that is genuinely welcoming of women, men, and people of other gender identities. He established Curious Creatures in 2011, and is the principal facilitator.
Curious Creatures run a wide variety of kink, tantra, sex-positivity, and psychology workshops. The best way to stay informed of upcoming events is to join the Community and Events Newsletter here: http://www.curiouscreatures.biz/contact.html
